Shoot 'em or keep 'em?

Found this partial box of old Rem .22 shorts stashed in a box of other stuff the other day. Probably at least 30yo. Only 17 rounds left, but all seem to be in pretty good condition. I have no memory of when or how I got these. Could have bought them or been given to me I suppose. Produced between 1974-1981. Collector item?

Don’t know about being worth anything, but I bet they will still fire.

Only 17 rds. left, I'd probably just shoot 'em.
Might save the box for photo ops.

As above, just shoot them. I don't see any collectibility, especially not with the box being in poor shape.

Yep, collector ammo is all about the box. Shoot em’.

Shoot 'em! Better to have a fresh supply onhand.

Ok, I'll shoot 'em. But not right away. I might save them for my 17th B'day.

I'd save them for a late night varmint off the deck. Very quite out of a bolt gun. Just a pop. Well, that has been my experience. And with a head shot, on small varmints, they work just fine.

I had several bricks of then in mint boxes. I shot most of them and saved a full box for display. They have no value being 30 or 40 years old.
Even ammo made during WWI and WWII don’t have any additional value.
