The good and the bad of being unorganized

Post by Ozarkwoodswalker » Sun Oct 17, 2021 4:34 am

Well, yesterday evening went to get ready to go fall turkey hunting today, and discovered to my shock I only had two shotgun shells in the house!... possibly I left a box or two on the back porch at my mother's house.?.??
.a well organized person would not have been caught in such a situation. That's the bad.
The "good" is that in my blundering search in the bottom drawer of my gun cabinet I discovered I had an additional 1500 to 2000 rounds of 22lr that was in addition to what I " thought I had"... and I also had 4 more boxes of 30 30 I didn't know I had, and two boxes of 223 I was unaware of... plus some additional boxes for the old Mosin nagaut. So that's good. "Right?" ..... oh well..... try and see the postive in any situation.....

Well, sorry to hear that there weren't any shot shells, but
Sounds like a win in the long run.
Dang shot shells seem to be `in short supply around here.

What a surprise and that must have been a heavy drawer! Yep getting down to two rounds is getting tight.

Our Wally World had cases of shot shells in 12 gauge and plenty of shotgun ammo. Even had 28 gauge... if you can believe it.

They didn't have the 308 soft point I was looking for, or 357 magnum or maximum. :? but boatloads of 12 gauge.
