Copper ( and therefore Brass) are essential for 99% of all ammo, as we know. Well it's about to get real tight and real expensive. More so than we've seen so far. If you haven't been conserving what you've got (factory or for reloading) I suggest you do.

Until I see some light at the end of this tunnel I've decided to suspend all shooting that isn't absolutely necessary. And by that I mean if it ain't breathing or causing me a problem, it don't get a bullet. The sole exception is if that bullet will put meat in the freezer. All my firearms are sighted in, I don't need to practice, and I won't be buying any others.

Of course this will effect much more that just ammo. Copper and brass are essential to everything from electrical transmission to plumbing, doorknobs, and "copper fit socks". Civilian ammo is pretty low on the priority list for copper and brass (primers, bullets, and cases).

Yep. You'll have to decide which is more essential - socks or ammo. ;)
