Took my fiancee for a drive, from Sparks, NV to visit Minden-Gardnerville. Drove through both towns and then turned around and came back. In Gardnerville, saw the Guns and Ammo sign and pulled in. Although they did not currently have any .22 Mag. ammo, there were lots of boxes of various calibers on the shelves. In addition several walls were filled with all kinds of firearms and the cases were also filled with handguns. The salesman was helpful in answering a couple of other questions I had as well. So if you live anywhere near, this is one gun shop you should check out.
The nearby snow capped Sierras were also very beautiful and made the drive worthwhile.

great to hear that guns and ammo are once again showing up at least in a few places

I used to pass through Gardnerville a couple of times per year when I lived in Paradise, Calif., on my way to my native Owens Valley (eastern California). I always liked that town and I know several people who live there. There's a good Mexican restaurant there, where the highway goes to the right (if you're traveling south).

Good to hear of a store that has supplies presently. Really like that part of Nevada. Haven't been up there in a while; may need to take a road trip.

I've seen a couple of stores with a decent supply of some calibers, but the price, good lord the price...
