I’m seeing lots and lots of ammo available especially in the popular semi-auto pistol and rifle cartridges. I only but CCI mini-mags and .410 shot shells and of course I rarely see any of either. I have enough on hand that I’m not concerned but do keep my eye open when I’m in a store that sells ammo.

A favorite shop located in Coeur d’alene Idaho which is about 50 miles from my home is having their big grand opening for a new location this weekend. Normally I would have driven over and enjoyed shopping but with gas at $5.50 per gallon and my best mpg rig is 20 I decided to stay home. Sad. :(
I understand perfectly that last paragraph.
The main 2 stores around that sell reloading supplies aren't close either.
One is 35 miles SW of me & the other is 42 miles SE, and they are about 60 miles apart.
We do have an Academy on the north side of town, that's 15 miles one way, but as of the past year has little to no components other than bullets.
I do visit it on an occasion when I'm working out that way.

Got an e-mail from Underwood, they have a 30% sale some select ammo, and no special coupons required.

Got that too. Mostly pistol ammo, it's all hunting/defensive rounds. Some good deals if that's what you're looking for.

I hear all the handguns are sold out everywhere since PM Commodus announced his ban on sales coming.

I live in southern Maryland and all dealers I visit are grossly overchargiing for ammo, so I buy it on line. Even with shipping it is still a lot cheaper than dealing with the locals. If I buy boxes of .38 Special on line it might be as low as $19 a box for 50 rounds plus 15 bucks for shipping, That's about $110 for the buy. Locally, the same buy would be $170 or more, and I don't have to burn gas to get the rounds...

I just bought a case of Norma TAC22 online for a fraction less than 10 cents a round. I didn’t really need it but had to feed my buying addiction.

Ammo prices are higher than before. But, they are coming down some. Plus, supply is going up. I see more 9mm rounds on the shelves than anything. Locally, FMJ .357s go for about $37 and FMJ .38 specials around $29. Yet, I have been buying LHP .38 special +P lately, which have been higher than both. That is the load that my wife feels comfortable with shooting from the snub nose .357. My goal is for her to shoot as often as possible, with a round that she is most likely to use. If the time comes, I want her to have an idea of what to expect. It might not hit like a .357. But, it should get the job done.

Gene I bought 1500 rds of those a few month back, believe it was a tad over $150 with shipping.
Haven't tried them out yet, but suppose to be some fine ammo.
A buddy of mine said he uses it for competition.
