Re: Ammo supply good in your ‘hood?
we visited our local Cabela's this morning .... NO primers .... small selection of powder .... 50 +/- rifles in stock, 2 made by Henry .... decent bulk boxes of 5.56, good number of regular boxes of 223 with very little other boxes of loaded ammo .... small selection of Hornady bullets for reloading .... pretty good selection of semi auto hand guns .... all in all, pretty discouraging

Picked up more #11 CCI caps at my LGS last week. Tops up my inventory. Lots of primers there, all sizes.

Well today at the LGS if you own a 9mm or a SW 40 you would be in high cotton....plenty of it on the shelf. 45 ACP was full of only SD 20 round boxes
and some rifle ammo. decent amount of powder and PRIMERS!!!! Saw some Triple 7 and Pyrodex too.

Went out today and bought two new ammo cans. Just trying to be optimistic. I did need them though to keep calibers better organized.

Re: Ammo supply good in your ‘hood?
Made a trip yesterday to my favorite LGS in Coeur d’alene Idaho. They are moving and had a store wide 10% off moving sale that includes guns and ammo. The only ammo I was looking for is .410 and of course they didn’t have any. I did pick up a bag of Starline 41 mag brass for 10% off. Somehow my wife managed to find two pair of boots and a Vortex plaid shirt. I guess she’s a better shopper than I am. I looked for a Henry .410 lever shotgun but they didn’t have one. They had a huge amount of ammo, lots of Hornady bullets and some odds and ends of powder.

Re: Ammo supply good in your ‘hood?
A year, less a few days since this thread started, and ammo was rare and expensive. In the last month or 2 locally is barely acceptable, and is still expensive. Given what Vista Outdoor sent out about price hikes this spring, I don't expect it to get any better than it is right now. So I made a trip to my LGS, and spent $140 on .22lr, .22mag, and 9mm (with my discount). You might think I needed a shopping cart to carry it out to the car, but no. It all fit easily in a small plastic bag. And this was the (use to be) cheap stuff.
This is my ginormous haul.

I am a little surprised that ammo has not dried up around here to the extent as some other places. Depends what you shoot I guess, I hear that 45-70 is scarce and some other hunting rifle calibers. But 22 seems to be in abundance.
