I found 1080 rounds of Korean surplus ammo that has good reviews and placed an order.

True, it tis getting harder to find 30 Carbine factory ammo. We have a little stockpiled so we can shoot our Old Model Ruger Blackhawk 30. Really hoot in that revolver.

I don’t think any of the 30 carbine is corrosive so it should be okay. Some 30.06 Korean is corrosive.

Well I hope it's OK it had some good reviews. Bud's Guns had the same deal last week but all gone now. Found this at Lucky Gunner.
I have a good amount of new ammo and some military surplus from the 60's.

Well my 41 pound ammo can full of 30 Carbine on stripper clips came today. Very nice wrapped in paper and in bandoliers with the loading spoons.
Date code was 1986. Will try some and see how they run. Might even hook up the Magna Speed on the Carbine and compare to other ammo.

Ouch. That defeats the purpose of Bill Ruger opting to chamber his Blackhawk in 30 Carbine back in the 60s when there was so much cheap surplus ammo to shoot. Times sure have changed. At least there's still some out there for me to shoot in our OM Blackhawk.

I might just get out Thursday and run a few thru the M1 Carbine and check some speeds.
