Another 1,000 rounds

I shoot a lot and am constantly replenishing my stash. Yesterday I bought another 1,000 rounds of CCI 40 grain Mini-Mags.

I was on a standard velocity kick for about two years. Now I’m shooting mostly high velocity. I think it’s because I’m shooting metal and not punching holes in paper.

I order from ammunitiondepot.com. A lot of sales on brand name ammo, free shipping over $149 most of the time. Often have calibers I can't find locally.

Our local club range does not allow shooting steel, it's paper only, so SV is still our main 22 ammo, plus when shooting at home, we shoot CCI Quiet or CBs to sleep the noise down. We still have a good supply of Mini mags and other HV ammo, though. Need to get out and shoot some of it up.

Heck yeah, they're like $10-11 a hundred at WW.

They get you on the shipping unless you buy a lot.
I put one of those and a 50 Rd box of the Aquila Accelerators in the cart. Shipping was $20 and some change.
That put it at over .13 cents a round.
So I passed.
