Having bought a truckload of topsoil recently, I don’t think dirt is cheap, maybe they need to change their name…..

They are a bunch of opportunistic jerks, IMHO. Always have been, for many years. Just say no to CTD.

I don't even have to look, I'm pretty sure it's ridiculous.
They've been a super gouger for the past couple of ammo shortages, haven't visited the site in a loooong time.

Years ago when I first got into shooting I tried to order a scope from this outfit.

I had not done any research about how bad they were.

I canceled my order after a month or two of being back ordered.

They suck…

I see they are still wearing that "price gouger" badge.

I learned pretty quick to never buy anything from them in the last shortage 8 years ago.

There must be some pretty expensive dirt in Texas. I have never bought anything from them and when doing an online search for something I always skip the link to their site.

Agee with John E. They are jerks that are eager to make a $$ in a shortage........I trash their catalogs.

CTD is selling this for $99.89/box of 250.
Academy Sports in Greenville, NC is selling the same box for $19.99.
I will NEVER buy anything from "Cheaper than Dirt"!

Years ago I used to buy from them, then when one of the school shootings took place (I think it was Sandy Hook) they took a stance that didn't agree with so I quit shopping/supporting them. I don't even click on their website any more.

I wasn't around for the previous ammo shortage/ drought.. Took up gun ownership and shooting during last six months of 2017. Heard about CTD and previous nonsense and never gave them any business, gave it to Cabelas for a while. When Bass Pro took over they refused to sell me 22or round nose ammo. When I asked why they said hollow point ammo is a New Jersey prohibition, I told them round nose is legal but they refused to ship it to me. I did use the zipcode button on CTD to see what's legal, that is quite accurate I must say then went and ordered ammo from somewhere else.
