Todays stop at the LGS........
Stopped by to pick up a couple things and then went back to the ammo area. Plenty of 9mm...SW40...10 mm...357 Sig and 6 boxes of Winchester 45 ACP target ammo but no revolver type ammo to be found. I got two boxes of the .45 ACP and ran a spot check of it for COL when I got home. The COL ranged from 1.253 up to 1.274 and found one round with an interesting flat point shape! I keep my loads at 1.260 and they might vary by +.002 !
Price was 28.99 per 50 which isn't too bad as it saves me primers and can use the brass one day.

Good deal forty. When I was in Idaho last week, a couple LGS' had ammo also, but zero powder and primers. Bullet selection was looking ok, so, things are trickling in. Damn smokey in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Could see the Teton's one day , not the next.

Went to the city, stopped at a grocery store, while wife was buying groceries I wandered over to the bait & tackle section and they had so I bought 6 boxes of Remington 9mm and 2 100 round boxes of 38 special, it was a good day!

Re: Todays stop at the LGS........
I went by the LGS yesterday to see if they had any primers but they didn't. Surprisingly the ammo shelves were stocked to darn near full capacity and there were no limits on purchases. I did manage to buy one bag each of Winchester 45 colt and 44 magnum brass along with some .308 bullets for the generals rifle.

Good find! The LGS's near me seem to have the same types of ammo on the shelf now. All I see is stuff for autoloaders. A Forty mentioned, I have not seen any ammo for revolvers either. I guess the manufacturers and focusing on the high demand autoloader ammo. Not as many revolver shooters as there were 30 years ago.

Does make me wonder about Winchester's quality control. If their dies are set I can figure how the oal could change that much. Lots of expensive ammo where I am.
