The Hobby Room

I don’t have a gun room. I have a hobby room where my hobby is firearms. I’ve spent many hours in this room reloading and tinkering with my Henrys. I don’t reload anymore but still like to handle my firearms and have a place to photograph them.

The six ceiling lights in this room are bright light 23w LED putting out 1600 lumens each. That is a lot of light that can be pointed at the center table.

This is a crude rifle stand that can be used for holding rifles for cleaning or a range trip.

I had a tanker desk under the cupboards. It will be replaced with a double counter high center table. Ammo cans will be sacked where the old desk was.

After the large safe is back I will reattach four steel Stack-On cabinet where it’s not painted. I still need to do the ceiling line and touch up a few spots.

The rain has been so heavy a range trip would not be a fun trip. Might as well stay home and work. I hope to get a lot done in the next week so a range trip would be a great reward.

Thanks for the tour of the outer edge of the infamous Sir Henry aka Lithgow 303 firearms and ammunition bunker system. Just having a little fun with you. :D Memories of some discussions long ago on Ruger.net Some folks got their pantys in a wad over hoarding ammo way back when.
Good to see you back in the hobby room.

Is there a reason that you'd line up your long guns underneath the window? I'd be afraid of smash and grab.

The house is built on a slope and that window is high about the ground. Part of my security is being invisible. Hence the name hobby room and not gun room.

The room is taking shape. I picked up the Craftsman tool cart yesterday and put it together. I think I’m going to remove the wheels to lower it and make it more stable.
