Nice results Marine. I'm sure Miss Tina likes it too. It ties the stove in nicely.

Ask and you shall receive, but ... the problem with trying to take a picture of both:
The kitchen is VERY narrow so it's hard to get far enough back to get a good shot. I did the best I could.

Not bad for an old geezer, an amateur who feels his way along.
I encountered problems along the way and just adapt and overcome. :P
Yep that looks great. I thing the walnut counter top extensions above the new cabinets look like a finished end to the original counter top. Well done!

As promised, Tina went thru and put the spices in the rack. They all fit except the oversized containers which she put on the back of the stove. She is thrilled. Spice Spice Baby.... :)

Miss T has me pulling my hair out now. She told me that my next project (for her...) was going to be:

Benches along the corner where the round kitchen table used to be, with a small table to match. (Ah, no.. changed my mind.)

Tall corner cabinet, with a shelf on top for her ceramic rooster, with hidden cabinet for the Ranch Rifle and the shotgun. Coyote Medicine. (Ah.. nope, changed my mind.)

She moved the Parson's bench into the space under the window and said a long coat hook rack, ten hooks or so, hats and coats, on the blank wall. You guessed it. (Nope, changed her mind.)

Now it's back to a tall rectangular table, with stowable benches. (I'm not rushing into the design phase.)

I'll start working on the knife and then my knick Knack shelf for the master bath. When she makes up her mind I should be finished with MY projects.

This is a neat idea and with your skills it would be easy to build one for a rifle and shotgun or maybe just your Shockwave.
