We have a Samsung that we really like since it's super quiet. It handles a lot of dishes and utensils.

We have a Miele dishwasher that is 20+ years old. We bought it because of past experience with the Miele brand. It is very quiet, our kitchen, living room and dining room are in an open floor plan. It has a built in water softener system, which I believe contributes to its longevity. Will definitely replace it with another Miele.

Miele here as well. Super quiet. Electronic control panel. Good luck finding anything new with a mechanical panel anymore.

My appliance man says LG or Kitchen Aid. Because you can get parts for them and work on them. As far as Samsung goes I will never buy another Samcrap Appliance. I have one of there French Door Fridges and it has been nothing but a PITA. My neighbor has one has issues with his. From what I understand Samsung is about to go to court with a lawsuit over the Fridges. I realize you want a dishwasher. Samsung should stick to phones and TV's. Just my .02 worth

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

When I got my clothes washer the salesman recommended Whirlpool or Maytag. He said Samsung appliances are pretty and have lots of features but they get a lot more service call for them than other brands.

I've had my Maytag dishwasher for quite awhile and it's been trouble free. Stove and Fridge are both Kenmore and they've also been good.

I have had good luck with Samsung TVs, monitors and phones.

Our dishwasher is fine, but I trashed a Samsung washing machine because it was a POS. So far the dishwasher and dryer have been okay.

thanks for mentioning the Miele brand .... I've never heard of then so I did some checking and must say I'm impressed .... all in all, they are priced way out of our market but thanks again for posting about them

I thought so too. But the wife insisted. I'm glad she won on that one. Worth every dollar.

well, a decision has been made .... Maureen decided on a " Bosch 500 Series Top Control 24-in Built-In Dishwasher (Stainless Steel) ENERGY STAR, 44-dBA" from Lowe's ===> https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-500-Seri ... 1001054156 .... with 5,555 evaluations it carries 4.6 star rating on Lowe's website .... it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and our youngest son is going to come over to install it .... at our ages it will (hopefully) be the last one we have to worry about replacing
