Manual Wood Splitters

Post by markiver54 » Wed Mar 24, 2021 7:28 pm

Just wondering if anybody has one, or any experience with a manual wood splitter? Looking on line at them, and they have pretty good reviews for the 10 ton version. Wanting one for the cabin this year, but not gonna spend a $1000.00 or more for a powered one. I have a lot of wood from view clearing up there, but it all needs split. I'm done swinging a Maul!! Back just cannot take it any more. Looks like I can get a decent one for $ 175.00 or less. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Here's one, might cost a little more but if you have a lot to split might be worth it :D

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Black powder. Drill a hole, powder it, fuse it, plug it, light it. Less work, more fun. :D

A manual wood splitter is you a sledge and a splitting maul. You need the exercise anyway split that would like they did 100 years ago.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Yeah, I wish Bud. Not long ago I used to look at it that way. Unfortunately, now it's mechanical help, or, the hospital! :(
