Good idea on covering the hole instead of plugging it. You or the next owners of the house may go back to a vented dryer in the future.

33 years  must have been MayTags. Remember the old commercials about the MayTag repairman being the loneliest guy in the world? :D

Okay, I’m seeing the tank desk in your laundry room and I have to ask, Boeing surplus?

Washington government surplus. I have three, two Steelcase and one Shaw. The Shaw is dated 1955.

the owner of the camper below modified it's outside cooking area to accommodate single unit washer/dryer .... as noted earlier, they are popular with many folks for use in RV's

I thought I would plug my guest bathroom remodel in here instead of starting a new one for it. It’s a long narrow room but the large mirrors makes it seem twice as big.

I painted and put down new tile. This was the least expensive room to remodel.

I’m still a week away from getting the new washer and dryer. I’m tired of going to a public laundromat. You see the weirdest people there. I’m sure they thought the same thing about me. :geek:

Nice, a guest bath with a double vanity, now that’s classy. Thought at first it also had a double medicine cabinet but realized it was just the reflection in the mirror. Time to see the eye doc I guess.

We took a trip to the Grand Canyon and other attractions in the area and had to make a laundromat stop. Yep, lots of interesting looking people there. Glad I had my Ruger LCR-X 327 in my pocket. :D

Those are the cheapest sinks you can buy. I was thinking of updating them and was looking at some $200 to $400 sinks. These can still be bought at Home Depot for $39.

The sink in the kitchen will be replaced when I do the countertops. I saw one for $700 that I liked.

The washer/dryer came today after five weeks of going to the laundromat.

Anybody remember that old Joe Walsh song...All Night Laundry Mat Blues???

“Got the all night laundry mat blues.......

Washing everything I own cept my shoes......

Ring around the collar and they smell like sweat.....

Dollar in the drier and they ain’t dry yet......

If you wear clothes you gotta pay the dues.....

Got the all night laundry mat blues.”

Fun song, Joe put a lot of humor in his songs to the point that some fans started complaining and told him to get serious. Next album he brought out was titled, “But Seriously Folks”.

After one load I called them and said I didn’t want it because it vented too much moisture into the room. It needs to be vented to the outside yet they advertise it doesn’t.

I would have mildew and mold within 3 to 6 months.
