It's currently 23°, I have had the stove running since 11 this morning. It's now 2:16, the temp is holding at 76. That's from freezing this morning.

Yep, and a very comfortable 76 at that. I’ve been running my stove for several days since the cold temps returned. I usually let it burn out around late morning as the house will get too warm if I keep it going.

Hatch I'll tell you, everyone said wood stove heat is very different. I didn't quite understand until today. It's full boDied for lack of a better term. This heat warms your bones vs the furnace heat. I'm just gonna be grateful for both sources of heat.
Hubby got home and was excited to feel the warmth. He is feeling really good right now.
