Funny to see this thread today. Last night Mary said we didn't have any hot water. This morning, I looked to see if the pilot went out. It was very windy yesterday. The heater lit after I performed the pilot lighting. It went out again within two hours. My HVAC friend is on the way. We will probably just replace the tank with another tank. He said wells, hard water and sediment don't agree with the tankless in this area. I always listened to his dad and I'm going to listen to him.
