I can hit pop cans at a hundred two out of three. Good enough for a half blind cowboy.

that's more than good enough for a cowboy with perfect vision .. :!:

That's when my floaters and allergies are not making trouble, on a bright sunny day I don't get that many hits.
My master eye scales over from allergies sometimes and I couldn't hit a cow in the tit with a tin cup when that happens.
My friend and I use to make 100 yard hits on beer cans with my .44 mag, 8 3/8" Ruger Blackhawk.
Ah, youth.

I’d be happy hitting a dinner plate at 100 yards with a non scoped .44 mag if shooting offhand. From a rest I’d be looking for side plate. If you’re hitting beer can sized targets, you’re doing just fine! I’ve still not shot my .44, but hope to get out soon.

It’s been awesome. Upped my success rate considerably on waterfowl this year. Had a few failure to fire incidents, but my gunsmith says it’s 99% likely to be the ammo so I bought a different brand to try, but didn’t get to it before the season ended. Overall, I really happy with it.
