Henry side loading gate .35 Remington

Hi so I’m new to this forum but I just ordered a Henry h024 in .35 Remington and just wondering if anyone has picked one up yet? I couldn’t find any videos on the .35 Remington either online only just the 30/30 model

Welcome to the forum from CT and congratulations on your new Henry. The side gate rifles are fairly new, so you may be one of the first here to own one in that caliber.

Really that’s cool, I was a marlin guy until I saw the quality and it was horrible on a few and I always said I’ll get a Henry when the side loading gate would come and sure enough it has come lol

I'm looking forward to your coming range reports and use observations that will come once you begin sending rounds down range .... will your Henry be a hunter ..

So I live in nyc so mostly if I hunt just deer if I do but mostly just target shooting and home defense,we are very limited here for what we can have so finding a lever action that holds 5 rounds is hard and Henry answered my problems plus that new side loading gate and the brass finish is beautiful in my opinion

Welcome to the forum glad you joined us. I have the sidegate in 38-55 and really like it. I m sure you will love the 35 Remington. We do have some 35 Remington fans here but I dont think any of those fans have picked one up yet.
