Can a Henry 44 Magnum Big Boy H006 handle 300 gr. ammo?

so long as it meets SAAMI specs, absolutely .... there are commercial 300 grain 44's on the market

Thanks for the reply. The ammo I was considering is Hornady Custom 44 mag 300 gr xtp.

Hornady makes good ammo .... should you run some through your Henry 44 please report your impressions and observations as to how it performs

Never had any issue in my Henrys with factory ammo.
