Magazine Tube Replacement

Simple question folks, is it possible to remove and replace the magazine tube without completely dismantling the gun.
The Henry videos do not show removal of the magazine tube they only show dismantling of the action and I do not want to dive in without some idea of how to simply replace the tube with minimum fuss

Many questions come to mind, but the first is Why are you wanting to replace the one that is attached to the rifle? Is it damaged/non-functional?
In any case, I'd think that this is not a DIY project, but one left to a gunsmith or to the Henry factory. I realize that the latter would amount to a major issue for you, what with getting the rifle to and from HRA from the UK, but I believe it's "major surgery."

The tube on the rifle has cracked in the usual place, where the inner tube locks into place. You are correct that sending the gun to the factory is a non starter, even me buying the tube is a no go as the importer will only deal with gunships, not all of whom actually employ gunsmiths. The result is I have had to find a gunsmith who can do the work, he will order the part, repair the gun then bill me for the part and the work. Fortunately a friend has put me in contact with a member of my shooting club who specialises in lever action work.

Got it. I guess the question is can the friend of a friend who's a member of a shooting club get the importer to source the part and somehow get it to this friend of a friend (or can you)?
If not, then it seems you'll be stuck with going the gunsmith route, which, according to MisterEd, shouldn't be all that difficult a repair (we've been texting about your situation).
If, on the other hand, the friend of a friend is also gunsmith to whom the importer will sell/ship the part, it should be even easier and more economical.
Either way, it's fixable, and the next question becomes one of Henry's policy (or inclination) on treating this as a warranty repair and paying for it all. I have no idea on this point, but it's worth an email (with pictures) to HRA customer service and asking the question. "The world is for the askers," as the saying goes!
Keep us posted, as there are a number of international owners here, some of whom may even know the answer to the warranty question.

If the OP can get the part without having to deal with the 'bureaucracy' it should be a fairly simple replacement.
Punch the pin out of the forward tube support, loosen the screw on the bottom link ahead of the lever on the underside and it should slide right out.
Install will be little more than a reverse of the removal.

Viking Arms the UK importer have given me the details of a local gunship who has an account with them, the club member is a gunsmith who specialises in under lever work so it should be an easy fix.
Thanks to mistered for explaining how to get the tube out I will have a good look at it and may do the work myself, depends on how lazy I feel.
Regarding warranty the gun was made in 2013 and I am not the first owner so that does not really apply.

.
Henry's lifetime warranty is on the firearm itself. There is no mention of it applying only to the original purchaser. So your rifle should still be considered under warranty.

International rules differ. HRA website refers international customers back to their dealer. Most of the warranty language in "U.S. customer" directed.

I would at a minimum email Henry and ask them about this - I.E. is it something they have to agree with the importer on to be able to export their rifles or is it just an arbitrary rule from the importer.
I suspect most gun manufacturers have little control of their policies with regard to service and warranty once they leave the U.S.
