Hi Guys,

Looking for a trigger shoe, for my .44 BB. The factory trigger is firm and during long range session with nice show squeezes the edge of the stock trigger starts to bit into my finger tip after about a 50 rounds. Any ideas ?

first, welcome to our forum .... delighted to have you join us .... your issue with a heavy trigger pull is well understood .... our Henry 44 is fun to fire and I enjoy sending bunches of rounds down range as often as possible .... I've used trigger shoes on other firearms and they did seem to help .... my best suggestion if you wish to go that route, is to check with a good gun shop and let them figure out which style and size would work on your Henry .... please take a look at our How Many ? thread (link below) and add yours to our community's total

Ace trigger shoe company is out of business. They are all numbered - so you can tell what width trigger they fit. However, it seems to be a deep-dark secret what number shoe fits what gun. And, they are not numbered by size, but numbered by the rifle they fit (in a seemingly random order).
I have one (unknown number) on my CZ and it does make a difference. I have an Ace #7 that will not fit anything I own.
If you find a list of ACE numbers and their width (that is the secret part) then you might find one on eBay.

Welcome to the forum shooter. I don’t have an answer but suspect after the holidays more people will post that do know.

Might try this company and talk with them. Maybe check and see if the curve and width of the Henry trigger is the same as the Marlin 336 and 1894's.

Try Tyler T-Grips. They also sell trigger shoes in various sizes. From this page, find the trigger shoe chart. Select Trigger Shoes from the left panel and then chose Updated Trigger Shoe Listing from the resultant page.
As an aside - I have purchased several shoes from them with no issues. However, last year I tried in vain - Contact Us / Email / Telephone and finally snail mail (including email, telephone number and return address in the inquiry) to get verification on size. No response from any platform.
