270 SWC and 45 colt steel

Quick question. Anyone have experience with Rimrock’s 270 gr SWC in their 45 colt rifles. I want to get some for my Blackhawk and I’m hoping they will shoot well out of my future Henry BBS.

I've run 200gr to 360grlead in bb with a little work you will get them to work just fine

What bullet profiles have you run in those heavies? What COAL?

Above 300gr there wfn my BB will run 1.63 oal
Under 300gr there a mix of different profiles
They all shoot and feed just fine

I currently load the 300 XTP Mags at 1.63” with no issues cycling. I was a bit worried that a WFN profile would be trouble but it sounds like I should be good.

Is there a weight range that you’ve found to be most accurate?

Just get what you like ( I like them all) and start working on the sweet spot
I keep the 325gr at 1435fps with lil gun the 360 will go 1400 but I keep them
At 1250 nicer to shoot
