Only answer in regard to shooting a Henry centerfire. If you reload for other firearms and not a Henry then please vote no. Also feel free to post a comment.

I'm posting this as a sticky for 48 hours as a test. It should take it off the sticky list on its own.

Yes I do, but I load for all my firearms.
The only exception is 9mm, but I don't shoot it much and ammo is usually cheap and available.

I too load for everything I own with the exception of shotgun shells. For the Henry, special considerations have to be made as far a bullet profile due to the tube mag. Also, bullet composition is important due to the increased velocity in the rifle barrel compared to standard revolver loads.

I'm going to say yes. Even though I haven't assembled a cartridge yet. I have all my stuff now to load for 44 mag and 45/70 including bullets. I should have a few to try by the end of the week.

I reload for all my centerfire handguns and rifles. I also reload 12 and 20 gauge shotgun shells. For Henry's I reload .44 magnum and .45-70.

I only reload .357s, but use them in both my Big Boy and my SmokeWagon revolver. I voted yes.

I reload for everything but my 40 and 45 cal semi-autos. I am getting too old and creaky to pick up brass. A big majority of my shooting is with revolvers and lever guns.

I have now officially loaded 25 rounds for my Big Boy so my yes is legit.

I answered for my MT husband who has reloaded for over 40 years. (My late husband and I did not reload.)

When we owned a HENRY Big Boy 357Magnum rifle, he reloaded for it and I used up some of my 357Magnum, 38Special Plus P and 38Special factory ammunition shooting it too.

He used cast bullets and other name brand reloading bullets when he reloaded for that former Henry CF rifle. He would still be reloading for it but we got out of ALL of our 357Magnum rifles and handguns and out of many other calibers over the years.

My husband still reloads for his rifles and handguns and if he BUYS a HENRY rifle in 30-30... he will reload for that HENRY RIFLE too.

I reloaded for years. A recent ailment put the stop on the reloading project.
At my age, I found that reloading is a project that requires regular effort and missed time is hindrance. Accuracy is a necessary thing that must be maintained and cannot be part time. I watched as other friends made mistakes and I did not want to follow them. I sold out to avoid making a mistake that could cost me a hand, or any other body part. You gotta know when to quit.

I hate getting old. But it beat the alternative.

If you own a rifle to shoot often you have to reload. My big boy Steel is made to be used. I reload for 5 lever guns; a Henry.44 mag, two 30-30 win 94 pre64. 88win, marlin 1895 45-70. 3 bolts and 3 auto's. Developing true quality loads for each rifle at a price of half or less that factory ammo. As well as assuring availability of ammo each time the govt. decides to infringe on out rights.

That is what I'm thinking. I reloaded in the past but haven't in several years.

I have a Big Boy .357, a Ruger GP 100, A Ruger SP 101, and a Dillon RL 550B. I guess you could say I reload.

I got the BB steel in .357 because I already loaded for .38 revolver. I planned on using the BB predominantly for target, so it seemed like the perfect caliber. My daughter fell in love with this Henry. She will easily go through 100 to 150 rounds per session. We usually go to the range once a week. At $20 - $25 a box for factory .357, factory ammo gets expensive really quickly. I can live with the $6 - $7 a box my reloads run me.

Cost is what got me into reloading decades ago. Welcome to the forum clovishound.
