I am finally seeing Big Boy All-Weathers for sale online, at least in .44 Mag. Haven't seen one yet in a store.

My LGS has a couple in the store. Not sure what caliber they are. Really nice looking rifle. If I were buying my Big Boy today, I would probably spring for the all weather. FWIW, I prefer the steel over the brass. I like the weight and balance much better on the steel. The all weather appears to be the same rifle as the steel, only with a nice textured chrome finish, and a weatherized stock.

I don't like the look at all. I get the purpose but I much prefer the brass.

unless I needed one for a boat rifle where it would contently be exposed to humidity and/or salt air, I can't see buying an all weather model ... I'm old school to the point I prefer the Big Boy Steel or Color Case Hardened look ....

There's definitely a market for them, I could see it being a hardcore hunting rifle for sure in some remote & harsh climates, but I just like a more traditional look for a lever action rifle. Of course, if my nickname at the range becomes "Rusty" there may be a problem...
