1866 sling attachment

Post by Lizardtrack » Wed Aug 27, 2025 7:43 am

: does anyone know how I could put a front sling attachment on añ1860 Henry? The problem is the follower that runs down the cartridge tube limits the options. There is very little space between the tube and the barrel.

The only option I can think of is the non-swivel type that just loops around the barrel, but I'm not sure it would work well or not.
I've never seen or handle one.

Take a look at BrassStacker slings. The ones I have have a partial c-clamp that grips the mag tube. They should work even with zero clearance between the mag tube and barrel. They do have a swivel too.
