Henry Rifle Forums

I have been trying to get my hands a Model X 357/38 for over a year. I had all but given up and started looking at other manufacture but just could not pull the trigger on one. I wanted the Henry. Last week a friend called and said he saw new H012 in stock on a web store where he had purchased guns from in the past. I got the name of the web site, and now have that Henry in my house. I am very excited and really looking forward getting it to the range. I am a happy old man.

Congratulations on the new acquisition , have fun with it. Welcome to the forum, many here will be expecting a range report. My wait on a Henry Big Boy Steel in 357 with side gate was about 10 months.

Good job on waiting! At the time I got mine it was ask, and it arrived a couple of days later. I don't have words for how much fun it is to shoot!

Great score on that one! After some shooting time to prove it out throw the Henry wood kit on it and be looking good! Don't know why Henry doesn't offer the threaded barrel option on all their lever rifles?
