As a lot of you know from previous posts I had a rifle that Henry was just not able to put a decent barrel on. They gave me a new rifle and my purchase price back. Unfortunately, the new gun had a barrel that nightmares are made of. I ended up with a really nice rifle with that would shoot 8 inch groups with some bullets impacting sideways and some that didn't hit the target at all.
About six months ago I sent it to Shawn Tomason at Diamond Rifles in Idaho. The people at Hart Barrels recommended him for all their lever action work. Hart Barrels does not make a barrel for .357 mag so he recommended A Shilen Barrel. I just heard from Shawn this evening and my rifle is done and ready to ship. Shawn put a 24" barrel with a 1-14 twist. it should be great for slow moving light bullets I will be using for Lever Silhouette.
I am a kid waiting for Christmas. More pics and a range report coming as soon as possible.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Yes, been waiting to hear more about this project.
It looks pretty good best I can tell.
What type of sights are you going to use?
What grain bullet are you going to try and use?
Something like the 125 gr? Never shot any comps. so don't know much about what is the optimal weight is.
