45/70 All Weather has arrived
I got an email about 7am this morning from RK Guns saying my Henry had arrived at the local Rural King and was ready for pickup. I went over on my lunch break to get it. The process went smoothly, I was only there about 20 minutes total. I do like the finish on this, it’s definitely non glare and should work well for hunting. It’s going to be some time before I shoot it, I need to order a picatinny rail from Ranger Point Precision and will probably get their trigger kit as well. Then I need to decide if I want to use one of the 20 something scopes I don’t have on anything (yes I’m serious) or buy something else. Anyway here she is.....

And the picture makes it look like it’s 12” long. I don’t know why, in the preview it looks fine.

I had one of these. I sold it cause the 45-70 recoil is more than I want anymore. But she really liked those Hornady Lever Evolution loads

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
