Again...I share the same problems. Can be very frustrating. Especially finding that "sweet spot"

Great group. Are those loads reloads or factory.
These are factory.

Looks like a good box of factory loads to keep around.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Red dots are an option to. You can get some very slim and trim red dots for the leverguns.

I bought some TruGlo fiberoptic sights for my 357 Mag Big Boy Classic, but I have not yet installed them. I have been thinking about it though I just can't bring myself to make any changes to my Henry quite yet. I LOVE the way it looks, and it shoots pretty darn well with the factory sights. I also purchased the scope rail mount that Henry sells. I have that stuff sitting in a drawer and I can mod the rifle pretty easily if I ever get in a situation where I need better sights or a scope. If I ever need to really reach out long distance my 357 might not be the best choice for that sort of thing in the first place.

The sights that came with my BBX are so good, I changed out the front sight on my Glenfield. That front FO does the trick for me, and I replaced the rear on the BBX with a RPP aperture. I am totally comfortable with rear ghost and adjustable apertures. The front FO allowed me to be able to pick up the front sight clearly too easily, and if I don't have my glasses on, if /i can make out the shape of the target, I can hit it. Amazing what wearing proper glasses will do for ya!

I've only put 30 rounds through my 357M/.38 special brass Big Boy, but I realized I couldn't see the front sight without glasses. I have a pair of cheap yellow tinted "aviator" readers that fixed that for me, but I don't use the gun to hunt so I don't need long range accuracy. I shot it at 25 yards with 20 rounds of .38 158 grain and 10 rounds of .357M 158 grain. Not much difference in recoil. I just wish the side gate version had been available when I bought the rifle. That tube magazine is a major PIA.

Congratulations on your new rifle and welcome to the forum.
BTW, I personally have no problem with the tube magazine. I don't really hunt much anymore and don't see myself using a side gate for target shooting.

I use Tru glo TFO sights on all my handguns.
They are tritium and fiber optic. Bright light, low light, doesn't matter. They are great. Front green, back are yellow. I have a bbx in .45 Colt.
Came factory fitted with a pretty good fiber optic sights. I emailed TruGlo about what I wanted. I haven't heard anything.
