Agree on that. Mfg list is $1198, so yes $1395 on GunScalper is way too much.

Some firearms are selling above MSRP. Marlin’s 1895 (MSRP of $1,399) comes to mind:

I read somewhere that the Marlin 1895 was Marlin's top seller in 2020. I will see if I can find that article again.
