Any tips for cleaning the brass?
You should see this statement in your Henry owner's manual
TO MAINTAIN OR RESTORE THE RECEIVER TO ITS ORIGINAL FACTORY
SHINE, WE SUGGEST YOU USE PEEK METAL POLISH, FLITZ, OR NEVR
DULL.

These products come in different versions. Just make sure to use the product versions specifically for cleaning gun brass (ammonia free)
.

Ammonia is not long term friendly to brass alloys.
Afterwards buff with Renaissance wax for a protective layer.
Use 100% cotton cloth only. No polyester content and no microfiber. These will leave very fine scratches in the brass.

Awesome and thanks! I already have some Flitz and use it on my revolvers.

Last night I inspected my new Henry BB 357 Mag and found a hairline crack on the wood Forearm piece at the Barrel Band. Henry sent me a return shipping label for warranty but this really sucks. I just got the thing yesterday after waiting for it forever because of shipping delays and then the California 10 day wait period. I was hoping they could just send me the replacement part.

I know how frustrating it is for you, however, things happen, and I know that Henry will work with you to make it right. Rest assured.

Ya they seem to be inconsistent on doing that.
When I needed a new stock they sent one. On the other hand there older posts throughout the forum where it has gone either way.

Might try insisting that they really only need to send a replacement forearm.

You might consider sending them a pic.

I sent them a couple of pictures. Hopefully I will hear back some good news Monday.

Dina, who is a customer service supervisor at Henry, let me know that she has ordered the replacement wood forearm for my Henry Big Boy Classic and I should be receiving it soon. Henry's customer service was quick, easy and fantastic.

There ya go. Didn't need to send the whole rifle back after all. Good for you and good of Henry CS sup to recognize that.
