After months of searching I finally got my hands on this elusive thing of beauty.
Case color hardened .357 carbine.

Beautiful Henry, no doubt. Question for you ... on the case color hardened models, what is the texture like on the color-hardened receiver & parts? Is it rough or smooth? I've never seen one in person but have been trying for ions to get one of these in a 20" .44Mag model. Just curious. Best wishes on your new .357!
