The most modifications that I have made (more like personalization) are replacing grips and sights. Other than that, my firearms have remained stocked. I don’t plan to sell any. But, I am more of a traditionalist.
DITTO. If they don't make it, I don't need it. There are unlimited choices out there that will do everthing that I personally need them to do.

A couple of guys in this thread have suggested I sell my H006M (not gonna do that), and buy a Henry .357 with brass receiver, side gate, and octagonal 20" barrel.
I would do that, but so far, I haven't been able to find the model # for one. Would somebody please tell me what it is?

Alternatively, the model # for one with a round barrel -- I could probably retrofit an octagonal barrel, tube?, forestock, and barrel band.

This is the site that I bought my Marlin 1894CS from (the link list .357 Henrys sold). It was not in stock, so I select to notify me. Within a couple of weeks, I was notified. Bought it and had it shipped to a local FFL. After inspecting and dry firing, I accepted it. That was over 3 years ago. Still happy with the purchase.

GFK, I must be missing something.
I do not see a .357 brass receiver with side gate listed.
What is the model #?

Sorry. Thought you just wanted a Henry .357 with a side gate. Henry does not make a brass .357 with side gate. This is a link to what Henry makes:

"Thought you just wanted a Henry .357 with a side gate".

That is correct - albeit with brass receiver and octagonal barrel. I am well aware that Henry doesn't make one, but a couple of folks here have told me to buy one anyway. I confess I don't know how that works, but I am willing to listen to them.
I still haven't been able to find any information about that King's gate model.....

Well, I don't know. I just went with what I knew. I knew Marlin made one at the time, so I bought one. If Henry is not making a brass .357 with an octagon barrel, contact them and make a suggestion. I think that is what prompted Henry to start added the side gate to some rifles, people submitted requests for one. Who knows, Henry may start making one.

The King's gate model is a Winchester lever action designed by Nelson King.
Winchesterguns.com wrote:A remarkable history. The Winchester Model 1866, often called the “Yellowboy” because of its distinctive brass receiver was a refinement of the earlier Henry toggle-linkage action, but included several important improvements developed by Nelson King, the Winchester factory manager. These improvements included a closed magazine tube, a right side loading gate and a wooden forearm.
