Henry X Model 357 with new Optics and Iron Sights

Post by Mr Twister » Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:31 pm

Added the Midwest Industries Rail with ghost ring rear sight and adjustable front sight today. I then finished by installing a Holosun 403B red dot on the rail, glass is very clear for the price point. I plan to get out tomorrow to sight in with my reloads that have already proven accurate in this rifle. The final piece of the puzzle will be to take a nice whitetail buck with this setup come hunting season.

I like that peep and front post. Can you see both well enough to use them while looking through the Holosun?

Unfortunately the red dot still sits a little to high to see irons so backup plan is to put a qd mount on the Holosun.

Yes, peep sight is part of the picatinny rail.
