Oh oh....I done it again !
I found a new X model in 45 Colt and it is on the way. Looked around the area and none in stock but found one on Guns International for less than a grand with free shipping and grabbed it! Now maybe add the new wood kit to it for a nice look! Have to order the 5/8- 24 piston for my Banish 45 first.

Yep...to easy. I had looked into getting my CCH 45 Colt carbine threaded but not enough barrel length from front sight and then the mag tube issue.
So I looked for the X model. Thinking I will sell the Henry .44 Mag carbine I have since I have the 1873 Uberti/Winchester carbine that shoots mild 44 Mag loads much better.

No piston for a fix barrel. You will want to either use a direct thread mount, or use a fixed barrel spacer.fortyshooter wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 1:11 pmI found a new X model in 45 Colt and it is on the way. I don't remember the banish? I recommend a wet pin tumbler for the baffles. I have tried ultrasonic, dry tumbling, and brushing. Cast rounds tend to gum things up in the can pretty quickly.
I love my 45 colt big boy x suppressed.

Have to get another piston for the larger 5/8- 24 barrel thread. I have the fixed spacer which replaces the spring for rifle use.DsGrouse wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 8:10 pmNo piston for a fix barrel. gotcha. I'd love to hear it. I've got a bushwacker 46 on the way for my 357 and 45lc big boy x's. I have my form 1 and it works well on both. Though i went with tri-lug mount for both. It makes on and off a snap.

Just sold my BBS 44 Mag Carbine so that will free up space for the new X 45 Colt due here Tuesday. Still have a great .44 Mag rifle shooter the Uberti/Winchester 1873 Carbine which shoots mild 44 like a dream!
