Scratched my new Henry, but CS comes through!!

Post by Retlawman » Thu May 26, 2022 12:38 pm

I contacted Henry CS an hour ago to see why I hadn't heard back as to the status of a new buttstock. This is email I just received. Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I was at fault, ok maybe the range table, but wow, just wow!!

I do apologize as I was not informed you needed to be contacted back. Your stock was placed on order and shipped out at no cost under warranty. Here is your tracking information. Thank you and have a great holiday weekend!

Sure can't beat that. A while back, I had a forestock issue and they did the same for me! Excellent CS for sure.

Henry is always the best customer service.

I was needing a youth stock once. Customer service was going to charge me $50 for it. No big deal that is their price and what I expected. I ended up writing Anthony Imperato and asking him since it was a brand new gun and stock and not even shot yet if I could just trade the factory stock for the youth stock.

He wrote me back and said no. He said he would have them send me a youth stock. They did and that is a company you can not beat. I usually buy Marlin rifles, but the current state of Marlin in the past and now the price of the new Ruger Marlins. I bought a Henry Big Boy Classic ( after getting the stock LOP worked out) I am more than happy with it so I bought an Evil Roy 22lr. Absolutely Love that rifle also. Now I need a 45/70 and not even interested in the Marlin. It will be a Henry when the economy picks up and money is not quite in such a demand.

My 44 mag. was a store model and it had some scratches on it... I took some 1000 grit sandpaper and wet sanded them out gently with the grain.Don't go to deep or you will go through the finish and hit wood.

Only way to prevent that is to lock it in the safe and never touch it. . .
