Is the Long Ranger a myth?

Do these things actually exist? There has been lots of talk and no reviews. Seems like a beat up to me. If they are real wouldn't Henry have them out for review?

Welcome to the Forum from the Show-Me-State.
Interesting question, which can be asked about a number of things nowadays. As an example. Over the last four years I've purchased two new shotguns from the same company. With both s/g, I had a couple of routine questions about function. So I contacted the web-posted Customer Service (CS) email a couple of times on each shotgun. Months passed by, and never-ever heard a word back....
I still wonder today if that company has a CS in existence?!?
All that to say,
Henry has an excellent CS going, and they serve their customers excellently. Why don't you call one of their CS reps, or better yet, email directly to the Henry President, Anthony Imperato, with your question. Mr. Imperato will
definitely answer you.
Again, welcome....and enjoy your visits on the Henry Forums!

Welcome from Wisconsin.
While I'm not suggesting anything is amiss, the "rollout" of the Long Range has been more than a little strange. While I have NOT seen any rumors, I suspect Henry may be having delays with production of the rifle. The "usual suspects," such as Jeff Quinn at Gunblast.com, and others who tend to be first on YouTube with reviews of new guns, are strangely absent. The rifle was announced back in May, yet I haven't seen reviews yet.
A puzzlement.

With the .308 out there, the "others will come!"
Although our KCKS Cabelas usually has a higher price tag (always close to MSRP), we can order a rifle on the web to be shipped to the store. With orders of $100 or higher, the shipping is free. They notify us when the rifle comes in, they we can pick it up.
Good to see the Long Ranger riding now.
"Hi-ho, Henry!"

As a member has mentioned here, they are available online at Cabelas. But has anyone actually seen one at a Cabelas in person?!?

Don't we have a forum member that works for H.R.A.? I wonder why he has been conspicuous by his absents on information about the availability of this rifle.

I'm wondering if they are having production problems or have discovered a design flaw?

No they are not a myth, I picked one up at cabelas on Friday. Pulled the fore end off an sanded a little in the channel as it was slightly touching the barrel, put 50 rounds through it on Saturday. With American eagle 7.62 165 gn math king it put 5 rounds in about an inch
