New option for big boy x models

Post by DsGrouse » Mon May 09, 2022 3:43 pm

It seems my calling campaign and email barrages have paid off. (i am sure i am not the only one.) Henry now has a replacement stock set for the x models.
Please note that unless otherwise noted, there is no interchange between models.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR X-MODEL CONVERSIONS:

Stock Set # H10-200 for H010/H018 Series models is now a direct replacement wood set for the synthetic furniture set on all X-Models: H012X, H012CX, H012MX, H009X, H010X and H018X.

Note that you will also need a forearm cap(listed under "Parts") to complete that conversion.

The screws from your X-Model forearm would then be re-used to secure it.

It will be listed in our web store soon but in the interim please order from Customer Service at +1(866)200-2354
I have one coming for my 12cx and 12mx, I will post up photos of how they turn out when they get here.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

It isn't a cheap option about 150 bucks plus shipping. Though I would have easily paid that 150 more originally if given the choice for a wood-stocked variant over the plastic. I understand the concept of the plastic stocks and had it been like the Houge over-mold 10/22 stocks i wouldn't change it. It isn't though, it's not up to the snuff of the rest of the rifle, and IMHO it detracts from the quality of the gun. That is save for the butt pad. Both of them are marvelous.

$150 isn't that much, imo. About 3 tanks of gas in my jeep. :)

Very nice and good on you for wanting the wood instead of plastic.

The Henry checkering pattern is so well done and it identifies a Henry from a distance nicely. Kinda like the Marlin Bullseye but better in my opinion. Love those wood stocks.
