You know,
I get nervous when ever I drill a receiver or cut down a stock, but especially the receiver drilling. I don't think I would ever want to do that for a friend or anyone else. Yes I know you were kidding, but I have had friends ask, but they never followed through with it. Thank goodness.

I added a saddle ring to the H001, but I could take the cover off to do.
Wouldn't be that big of a deal to do the bbb, not like you have to drill very deep.
Like I've said here and on MO, it's a very nice job. Thanks for sharing your efforts.
Here's my H001.
I also stripped the stocks, but used tru oil on them.

I have a Henry Evil Roy on the way. How does your saddle ring hold up on the cover. Is it thick enough to hold it good and solid ? I have a Henry saddle ring that is extra and thinking on adding it to the Evil Roy.

It's been on there for a couple of years now, it did want to back out a little so I put a drop of blue loctite on it.

Thank you. Figure I would buy some red loc-tite if I do it. I imagine I will.

Jake,
Wish I could, But due to my lack of height I have to at least modify the LOP.

Looks nice! I suspect it shoots much better also. Happy shooting!

Thank you GFK.
It does shoot very well. I'm a huge 22 fan and after buying this and getting the stock and rifle the way I like it. I ended up buying a Evil Roy 22lr. should be here around Thursday I hope. 13" LOP should be ok but I can always cut it down another half inch if needed. But it should be good to go. I will have to take the finish off the stock though.

Did you have to also change out the front sight?jstanfield103 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 5:58 pmOk Guy's/Gal's
I finally have everything done on my 2017 Henry Big Boy Classic. Did the following.
2. Replaced the factory sight with a Marbles Bullseye sight. ( Love these sights)
Do you remember what model # Marble sight you installed?
Thanks!
Bill
