I actually saw two Henry lever action rifles today. They were like the one shown in the video on Henry's web not the ones shown in the catalog.
These had the integral front sight/bbl band & the receiver (peep) rear sight not the dovetail front & rear leaf sight like the ones shown in the catalog.
Just over $700 at the shop I visited. Both rifles looked really nice. I've been wanting to see one in person for awhile, They were nice the receiver rear sight would be very accurate & looked like it works rather like the Skinner rear sights. These rifles were light, handy, & fast to shoulder, the wood was a bit plain but did have a little figure. Should make a fine hunting rifle. I didn't get to work the action as they were tied down but liked what I saw.
I enjoyed seeing & handling them. I'd sure have to sell something though.

we are really happy with ours .... if ever forced to reduce the size of our collection, it would be one of the last to go

Likely some early ones still sitting around. Buy one and remove the rear sight. Then send it to Henry for the update. When it comes back install a tall Skinner front blade and put the ghost ring back on!

Decent price on them.

As far as feel it's a lot like the Big Boy just more of it. You do feel the fact that everything is bigger and the action is longer. They make a satisfying sound when you work the lever!
