Waiting for Henry to send me a shipping label. It will be my fourth barrel.20210708_145145.jpg
Fourth. That seems like a pattern. Hopefully, this will be the last one.

Just like on the other forum, I think that you should e-mail the big boss at H.R.A. and let him know what is going on. I think that they should send you a new rifle as four barrels is getting a bit ridiculous.

Also scary. Blew up a '95 mauser years ago due to bad gunsmith work in drilling reciever for scope mount. Punched out the mount screw and put a severe dent in the scope and made the gun useless. Luckily no one got hurt.

I may be mistaken but I thought that video tour of Henry Rice Lake plant noted that they bought thier barrels from another maker.

I have had to send two Henry rifles back for barrels. One 22lr that the rifling did not go to end of barrel and a 45/70 that the receiver was drilled for a scope mount off center. Skinner sight was way to right when mounted. Bore was off center also, Henry just replaced that rifle.

I only have the one Henry in 45/70 steel now it seems good to go. No problems but makes me wonder how good their process is and material being used.
