Snooze you loose

I stopped by my favorite gun shop today. They had a H0012 with a 16.5 barrel it looked real nice. I was undecided and put it back on the gun rack and left. I got done with my task and come back through and decided to go and buy it. Yep it was gone in just 2 hours since I was their the first time! Lesson learned! Next time I will not snooze! Anyone want to share their experiences?

Very unfortunate, however, I personally will not buy another gun until I know I can get ammo for it, at an affordable price.
I predict that if and when that happens, then there will be an abundance of guns......just my .02.

I completely understand the fear of snoozing. I lost a couple deals on the local used gun web site by waiting a few hours to reply. I sold a Ruger PC carbine on the local forum a couple months ago at a fair price and more than I paid for it, my phone exploded with text messages in 15 minutes. I had to tell 10 people they were too late and they replied right away.
I just bought a Henry 44 mag a couple days ago and I was afraid to put it back on the counter while I went to the ammo department thinking someone else might buy it.

Bo Derek wanted to marry me years ago, she went off to make that 10 movie, and when she came back my wife had already moved right in. It happens to the best of 'em.

And I'll bet Bo regrets it to this day.

Mark, if I were to buy another it would be in a caliber that I already have.

Or maybe a 38-55, but I do have dies for it with all needed components.

That is my thought as well. But, I did not have 12ga ammo on hand, when I bought my shotgun last month. However, I do now.

GFK, I do still see some shot shells from time to time.
But they do go quick when they show up.

From what I've seen, I don't think it has been as hard to get shot shells as opposed to rifle or hand gun ammo.

A week ago at the local Academy they had a bunch of 28 ga.
And some very expensive turkey loads.
Seems WW gets a regular shipment of 20's and 12's, but they usually go in a day or two.
I probably have 1k of each in various sizes, also a couple hundred 410's, which I've not seen on a shelf in a minute.
I did pickup a box of 20 ga slugs Friday. jus' cause

The slugs Ibought were $14. No bargain, as for the 28 ga stuff I didn't look. As I have no interest.

Yes, I seen 6 boxes of 12ga 2 3/4" #2 bird shot today. I have mainly been buying slugs or #00 in 2 3/4" or 3" shells. I may pick up some 3" #00, if I run across some.
