Re: 357 sidegate
I got that email to, the rifle holds a few more rounds the carbines a bit shorter. Personal choice you can't go wrong with either

Re: 357 sidegate
for hunting from a stand or shooting on a range, I'd go with a rifle
for carrying while hunting when walking through the woods, thickets, hills, marshes, etc, I'd go with a carbine

Re: 357 sidegate
Rifle, I don’t care for the lever on the carbine.

Re: 357 sidegate
I wonder when they will be available at dealers given the current gun supply issues?
Re: 357 sidegate
Carbine for me. Like the way they handle.

Carbine for me as well!
Re: 357 sidegate
LGS closed till Wednesday. I will have to decide which I want if they can actually order one. I am leaning toward the carbine. Is there any accuracy difference?
Re: 357 sidegate
You can't go wrong with either one, but for me a rifle fits me just fine.

Now if they'd just make the 357 AW in a carbine, I'd sell a kidney !

Re: 357 sidegate
Probably a bit. That's why I chose the rifle. Not to mention , a small amount of muzzle velocity.

I had both. Not side gate. Carbine was my favorite.

Re: 357 sidegate
I called LGS today, the frustrated clerk said "OMG no we can't order it yet" seems they're being inundated with calls and walk-in inquiries.. well EXCUSE ME for asking a gun store about guns, should I have called Victoria secret instead ?
