I ordered a sling/cover with cheek pad and ammo holder for my BB .327 on 11/10 from Rick at RCL Custom Leather, and received it yesterday (11/20)! It is nice work too!

I bought the black sling from the HenryPride website that's made by Diamond D Custom Leather. Like the other items I have made by Diamond D, it's absolutely beautifully designed and made. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are perfect. It's mounted on a 357/38 All Weather.

Pioneer Gun Works is another option. I’ve bought a few leather products from them. Their stuff is a little more “Pioneer” looking, using baseball stitchin and some split grain or rough face leather, but it’s nice stuff.

I’m looking around for a sling with ammo holder but just want a couple of rounds, not a full bandolier style. Buffalo seems to have nice stuff like that.

Buffalo is good and so is Hellhound. Lots of choices.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I recently got a no-drill sling and cuff w/ammo holder from Rick Lowe Custom Leather. He got it made quickly (I think he had it to me within 2 weeks) and it looks and works great.

I mentioned this in another thread regarding the exposed metal. This is a wax that museums use for everything--metal, wood, leather, anything you want protected. I use it on my musical instruments and all my guns. Renaissance Micro-Crystalline wax. Protects against perspiration too. The Smithsonian uses it, as does the NRA Museums.
