My favorite excuses are "That dang target won't sit still" or "The crosshairs were right on target the last time I looked".
There's #1 & #2 right there......  Can I use 'em also???

#3 might be something like "Are we supposed to keep both eyes open when we shoot??".
I had to stick pretty close to camp this deer season and that alone should be enough incentive to motivate me!
Keep that thought in the back of your mind as you do the stretches and exercises you'll be given, 5shot!!! It'll serve you well! ;)

My wife bought me a well-made but inexpensive Weslo brand recumbant bike. Some days, after my 2.5-3 mile walks, my new fake knees might be a tad sore after the downhill parts of my walkin'. But the knees almost always feel better after 20-30 minutes on that exercycle. There will be pools of sweat on the basement floor afterwards, but the knees feel great. This time of year in /western Oregon, it's a toss up if I get wetter from sweatin', or walkin' oudoors.... I have a daylight basement, so I can look out windows for a distraction, and listen to music, etc.. That helps a bunch. Ya really kinda have to commit to keepin' up a regimen of whatever you like to keep weight off and make it easier on the knew metal knees. If I could only learn to NOT eat like an idiot......

Maybe the all time best one I ever heard was......Every year before deer season we open up our range to the public for sight in. We charge $5 per gun and it makes a nice fundraiser for the club. I had a guy a couple years ago that was flinching so bad with his .300 megablaster that it was hard to get him dialed in for a zero. He explained...."I ain't much good on paper but just put a deer in front of me and lookout." OHHHHHKAY

I hope that all works out for you. Is that a split in the forearm?

It may look that way in the pic but it's a seam from when the stock was made. Definitely not a split.
