Ok just curiuos how many of you guys are a sucker for nice wood like I am. I have a 357 but I have been looking at this long and hard because of the wood. Its killer.

I'm right there with you, BigAl. Henry rifle wood stocks, and their soon-to-be-out shotgun wood stocks, along with wood knife handles are my very favorite parts of our collections. The quality, skill, and craftsmanship that is put into the wood designs of these tools is exquisite art in my opinion. Nothing better than such beautiful wood furniture!

I have been known to talk myself into a gun I really didn't "need" just because of the wood and that was back in the day when most guns actually had wood stocks. Nowadays, just finding a gun with wood is getting hard. Have to say, though, best wood on standard guns I've seen in recent years is with Henrys.
