223/556 underlever

Hi, my son is considering a Henry 223/556 underlever for long range target shooting. Has anyone any experience of this? The youtube reviews sound good but I'd like to hear any other comments.

Which model? There are 3 basic models, plus their derivatives. The Supreme, Predator and Long Ranger. I have a Leopold scoped Long Ranger. It's quite accurate. I've shot it out to 200 yards.

With the heavier bullets you need a fast twist. A 1:12 would work but a 1:9 would be better but with those twists your barrel will wear out a lot faster. The 223/556 might be capable of shooting to 400 but I would choose 308/762 or even 30.06.
