I emailed Henry first before I purchased the 024 38-55 lever action and asked if they were going to make a 38-55win in a single shot rifle anytime soon and there response was "no".

I really like my Henry 38-55. Is accurate up to 100 yards using IMR 4227 and starline short brass. Past 100 yards it is pretty rough going using the buckhorn sights.

If they'd make one with the octagon barrel and a case colored receiver, I could get interested.
Or a single shot, what would be really cool would be an octagon barreled SS. :o :D
