The first time in Mississippi while registering black voters, the second in El Salvador while working on a land reform program, and the third in Louisiana while helping organize offshore oil field supply boat workers.
Dang! Well, hopefully no one is shooting at you any longer. Thanks for answering. Double dang. :o

Another great idea...ice filled Solo cups, and not sugary, so the woods adjacent to my lawn won't get diabetes! :)
Seriously, I'm having a ball with my new Henry lever action. Don't even slightly miss the "AR" style rifle. My wife wants to know if I'm going to get a horse and a cowboy outfit.

I'm not and never have been a hunter. I just shoot for fun. The Henry I have is a lot of fun to shoot.

Well, I've managed to "waste" 50 rounds of .38 Special (Norma 158 grain and PMC 132 grain) through my new Henry X with the suppressor attached. No issues. I load through the loading gate (suppressor blocks access to tube)
+and I do work the lever vigorously. The loading gate is stiff; I'm guessing it loosens up a bit with usage. Yes?

My eyes are old, so I have the Henry rail and a red dot mounted. I think the only accessory I might get is a sling.

Good to hear your ammo was “nicely wasted”. :D

Haven’t heard that one before, I like it!

HI, congrats on your new .357 Henry. Any .357 lever actions are difficult to find these days, especially Henrys. I have a BB side loader in .357 case hardened 16" carbon and I was lucky enough to pay MSRP. Did you say your X shot 132 gr .38 special ammo and it fed reliably? Henry recommends using only 158 gr. .38 because of feeding concerns. As for.357 mag, it doesn't matter. Thanks

Indeed, the only .38 Special ammo I could find when I took delivery of the rifle was 132 grain. Shoots fine. I've since scored four boxes (200 rounds) of Norma 158 grain .38 Special.
